We're back to tell you more about our brilliant new ebook -pictured - and to share an extended excerpt from it. This is the book where we ask a panel of 12 leading experts the biggest questions regarding the raw diet and lifestyle. We're back - with more exciting news!

We're sorry this blog hasn't exactly been a hive of activity over the last fortnight. That's because there has been so much activity going on behind the scenes. We can't go into too much detail right now as it has been a bit of a marathon and we all need an early night. But in brief, here are a few things you might be interested to know...

To the left is the cover of our much-anticipated ebook, which is just out - Raw: your biggest questions answered. This is the book we updated you on two weeks ago, it features the opinions of 12 leading raw food experts on a wide variety of topics, and you can now find out more about what's in it, and/or instantly download it and get your hands on 270 pages of the most valuable and fascinating health information ever published.

But this isn't the only publication we've brought out this week: we're also proud to bring you the Autumn issue of Get Fresh! magazine, now available in print or as an instantly downloadable emag.

Also newly launched this week is our affiliate programme. This is for those of you who have a raw business, website or blog and and would like to earn a potentially very nice source of passive income referring customers to us. Durian on demand

Often referred to as the king of fruits, the durian hails from Southeast Asia. It is a firm favourite among raw food fans everywhere with its heavenly, unique and impossible-to-describe taste. Durian has always been an expensive and hard-to-get-hold-of delicacy unless you happen to live in a region where it grows. In western countries, you’ll find it only in a handful of specialist Asian markets, and a fruit will usually set you back anything from £10 to £20.

So if you're a durian lover residing in the UK or Europe and have been limiting yourself to the occasional fix we have great news for you! Oooh Lara, You're So Lovely!

From Emma: Please allow me to introduce Lara. In May 2000, after a normal hike on the beautiful Rocky Mountains on Colorado, Lara was in need of an energy kick. After finding nothing satisfactory or attractive amongst the coffee-guzzling crowd, little did she know that this hike was going to spark a mountain of an idea...

After scouring the aisles of grocery stores and noting popular flavours of ice-creams and cookies, Lara set to work with her blender. Realising that she was only going to gain real, sustainable energy, from pure, raw, wholesome foods, in went the ingredients: fruits and nuts. After tampering with a few recipes and testing her formulas on willing family and friends she had finally created an absolutely delicious concoction of Larabars, all flavoured and named exactly as they taste; 'Cherry Pie', 'Apple Pie', 'Banana Cookie', 'Cashew Cookie', 'Cocoa Mole' and 'Ginger Snap'.

We had an absolute field day in the office when Steffi, Larabar's UK Marketing Manager came up to Fresh HQ last week with a mound of samples to taste test. We are always getting asked if we are going to start selling young coconuts but the logistics of this and risk of spoilt and bad coconuts has made it impossible, so I am particularly excited about the introduction of this fantastic new product. On a recent visit to the Organic Products Show at Olympia I met the people behind this amazing new product. After years of research, thousands of pounds of investment and many attempts at perfecting the technique (how to package the coconut water and give it a shelf-life without pasteurising it) - at last it's here, Coconut Water now available packed and ready to drink. I would say that this is about as close at it gets to drinking fresh coconut water other than of course cracking open a freshly picked young coconut and drinking it.
