What is a Teleclass?

Telephone_2By Emma: It suddenly occurred to me the other day that before I joined the Fresh Network, I had read about teleclasses, but they were a new concept to me, and I didn't understand them straight away, so therefore I didn't really pay much attention to them.  It all seemed too complicated.  It happens occasionally that when people are faced with things they don't understand, they feel vulnerable or it is just too much hard work to find out answers.

Now, obviously working at Fresh, I now understand fully about teleclasses and have been on every call to date and have felt absolutely delighted and overwhelmed as to how rewarding they really are.

Allow me to explain...

Dinner is Served

Dinner_party_iconWe have news about our dinner parties. As you know, we are holding dinner parties monthly in London. We organised this to happen as we wanted to support people who are fed up with either discontinuing to dine out because of their limited options of fresh, healthy food, or who find themselves feeling unhappy and out of sorts after they have finished a night out in a normal London restaurant.

We held our first amazingly successful dinner party in Vita Organic in Soho back in April, however, they are unable to offer us the venue for future events. Initially, we thought this to be a big loss, however, the world works in strange ways. The only criticism received from our last dinner party was in connection with the venue - it being too small, and the wooden seats a little uncomfortable for a couple of people.

We have now managed to find a perfect replacement venue with space for up to 150 people! Can you imagine?! It is a very open, airy, traditional building right in the heart of London with free parking!

Where is this, I hear you say? From July onwards, we will be holding our dinner parties on a Saturday (instead of the Sunday), in Westminster Kingsway College. Now, Westminster Kingsway College is one of the most profound hospitality training colleges in London. It has trained the likes of Jamie Oliver and Anthony Worrall-Thompson. The College have their own restaurant called The Vincent Rooms which is part of the traditional old Westminster building. It overlooks a big green square with many parking spaces that are free of charge on a Saturday.

We are very excited about the possibilities of these dinner parties and we hope that they will grow to fill the entire venue. (For this next dinner party taking place in July, we already tentatively have a group booking for 15 people!). For now, we are concentrating on the Private Dining room that can hold up to 35 people and as word spreads at how fabulous the food is, then we'll grow from there!

Please read on to see the new dates and themes and how to book...

Are You Confused About Living Foods?

Brian_clementAre You Confused About Living Foods?

One Day with World-Renowned Expert Dr Brian Clement will Reveal Everything you Need to Know!

We guarantee that in this easy to follow one-day seminar you will learn the most up-to-date and true facts about Living Foods and discover how you can use them in your own life to create vibrant health and regain your youthful energy!

Dear Fresh Network Blog Readers,

Living foods are optimal health-giving foods that you need to incorporate in your diet. Not only are they the best, they are the cheapest to buy and the easiest to create!

  • Have you ever tried sprouting your seeds, grains or nuts and given up after an unsuccessful first attempt?
  • Have you ever wondered what exactly it is that Living Foods can do for you?
  • Is that juicer you bought collecting dust instead of collecting pulp?
  • Are carrots good to juice or are they too high in sugar?
  • And does the thought of juicing anything seem like far too much hard work?
  • Or perhaps you are already happy juicing and sprouting but you need more?

Let's face it, soaking, rinsing, sprouting, masticating, dismantling and using all manner of kitchen equipment can all get very confusing and seem like much more hassle than it's worth.

It doesn't have to be this way!
This one day seminar can show how easy it really can be!

We are bringing over the highly acclaimed Dr Brian Clement from the Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida for this special one-off seminar where you can hear the most up-to-date, practical, down-to-earth information available!

A lot of Living Food problems arise from a lack of knowledge and a fear of doing things incorrectly. We can help you correct this with our one day seminar. On Saturday 8 July, at 10.00 am, Dr Brian Clement will be filling the Cavendish Conference Centre in London full of eager and keen health enthusiasts desperate to learn his tips and secrets that are actually so simple to understand.

Tell me more about this life-changing event..!

Deliciously Delightful Dinner Party

Soho_welcomeI am so pleased to be writing today after all of our nerves, excitement and anticipation, that our very first London Raw Dinner Party was absolutely brilliant!  Our purpose of hosting this dinner party was to create a real restaurant setting serving first-class raw gourmet food, where great people could at last relax, let their hair down and enjoy themselves knowing that for once they did not have to worry or be concerned about what they were going to be served or any other issue that comes with dining out. What a relief!

In case you weren't there, let me describe the atmosphere to you...  Imagine an intimate, cosy restaurant with bamboo surroundings, rock candles and a relaxing water fountain at the entrance.  As people arrived they sat themselves wherever they wanted and whether they came on their own or with friends, everyone immediately chatted and felt easy about talking to one another. There was an instant buzz that remained throughout the night, the excitement of the taste, smell and appearance of the next dish kept everyone eager and excited as to what our chef Russell James could possibly concoct next!

Russell busily beavered away in the kitchen which, as it just so happened, was in front of people, so everyone could have a little peek into his world of raw gourmet. Karen waitressed and balanced the plates skillfully, with only a few forks flying here and there whilst tottering on 5" high heels, and I generally was a little bit everywhere - washing, drying, tossing a few edible flowers onto plates (delicately of course!), and enjoying looking at the smiles on everyones faces and listening to the 'Mmm' when the first mouthful was eaten.

Soho_dinner_party_april06_019The theme of the dinner party this time was Italian, and we enjoyed a wonderful 3 courses, with a fantastic linguine starter, lasagna for main (see picture left) and two gorgeous chocolate tortes for dessert. We have a few more themes up our sleeves, and Russell is already planning the menu for the next one in a month's time which will be Mexican Night.

The First London Raw Dinner Party

Tfn_dinner_party_012006_011We have our first London dinner party fast approaching, this Sunday, at Vita Organic in Soho that we are all very excited about!  We have spent a long time working on this event and thinking of ways that we can make each person feel really relaxed and waited on for a change!

Russell, our chef, has been practising his menu and from what I have sampled so far, we are all in for a real treat! It will be so lovely to actually go out for dinner in London and really feel that we are spoiling and treating ourselves, but in a much healthier way than the usual run of the mill restaurants you usually find knocking about town. Each dinner party (this is the first of many) has a theme, and this Sunday's theme is Italian

We nearly have a full house (full house = 30), and the mixture of people is so varied in terms of what stages people are at, not only with their diet, but also with their lives. It will be a great opportunity to meet interesting people, to discuss topics of mutual interest, to expand everyone's knowledge, and I know that I like nothing better than meeting new people. One of my favourite hobbies is definitely meeting new people - I love talking, and communication to me is such a vital and important part of everyone's life, but sometimes it isn't always easy. Hopefully the conversation is going to be flowing as well as the good vibes - I'm in charge of the music!!  :)

If you'd like to be there don't delay booking, as 30 is all we can take. Call us today or book online to secure your seat!
